Halifax, MA. – May 12, – Fieldstone Show Park is proud to announce the development of Champions Give Back, presented by Purina and Hanson Grain. This year Fieldstone wanted to do something truly special. With the onset of COVID-19 back in March 2020 the world changed dramatically, as we all know and probably have experienced. The horse industry felt its fair share of hardship, especially the programs that focused on therapeutic riding and the rescue of animals.
This year, Fieldstone has teamed up with Purina and Hanson Grain to do something truly special. Each week during the Grand Prix, Fieldstone, Purina and Hanson Grain will donate two bags of feed for every clear round, up to 20 bags, to a chosen equine rescue or therapeutic riding center. In addition to this donation, the weekly program will be able to partake in the event and join in after the class with a special awards ceremony.
Our first program to be featured this year is Furnace Brooke Farm.
Furnace Brooke Farm is evolving as a therapeutic riding hub on the South Shore (Marshfield, MA), welcoming students and their families to the farm to experience the transformative power and healing nature of horses.
Furnace Brook Farm currently has 94 participants and 11 horses providing services. The services offered include:
